Waylon (real name: Willem Bijkerk) is a Dutch singer that made an appearance on Holland Gots Talent 2008. At that time he was most into country music. He got second, but did manage to land a record deal with Motown. From that moment on he developed into a great soul singer, with a good live reputation. He is getting a lot of attention in the Netherlands (and rightfully so), but also other countries recognize his talent. This resulted in a duet with Lionel Richie, in a remake of 'You are'.
