Hailing from Peru, this psychedelic rock outfit began in 1971 primarily as such. This band
however, would see very little success in their long careers save for a few songs which would gain a considerable, albeit still relatively small
following such as the song "Carry On 'Till Tomorrow" from their debut self titled album. The band began, almost entirely as a psychedelic rock
group, in 1971 with the members: Saul Cornejo; his brother, Manuel Cornejo; and friend Carlos Guerrero. The bands initial run only lasted for
about 3 years when they broke up for the first time after releasing their first two albums, both self-titled (We All Together [1971] and We All
Together, Vol. 2 [1973]). Coming back in 1989, the band sought to incorporate modern styles of pop and rock in to their music, while still having
tracks which maintained their old style of music, the band expanded its genre of music to also include latin pop and to have more of a rock and
roll influence. During this early period, the band only released one album titled after the year it was released in the January of, 1990. After
nearly a decade of silence, the band released the album Aliteraciones, continuing the trend followed in their album 1990, but to a lesser extent
of change than their prior album. The band is said to have broken up in 2011 with its lineup consisting of: Carlos Guerrero, Carlos Pacheco, and
Iván Cárdenas. In 2018, however, the band returned with the album Minimalista, which shows the band full transformation from a psychedelic
rock band to a latin pop/latin rock band. « hide |
