Minneapolis, Minnesota deathcore-cum-melodeath outfit With Dead Hands Rising (often abbreviated "WDHR") formed in 2001 and
parted ways in 2009. Their eight-year run produced two full-length albums, a critically-acclaimed EP, and a split with Wings of
Scarlet and Tears Will Drown in addition to a demo released the year of the band's formation. At the time of the band's break-
up, WDHR consisted of Daniel Koppy on drums, Ben Kippley on bass, Logan Branjord, Ty Inhofer, and Alex "Bames" Kelly on
guitars, and Burke VanRaalte on vocals. Ex-members of Darkest Hour, Dead to Fall, The Body Beneath, Blue Ox, Bastard Saint,
and Devilinside served brief stints in WDHR's sound over the years.
