Xmal Deutschland was a gothic band from Hamburg, Germany. Founded in 1980 as an all-girl band, they became successful outside their native country. Vocalist Anja Huwe was often compared to contemporaries like Siouxsie Sioux (Siouxsie & the Banshees). Xmal Deutschland's last album was released in 1989.
