Zappien (stylized in all capitals as ZAPPIEN) is a rock band from Montreal Canda. Formed in 2008, the only official members inthe
band's line-up are lead guitarist and lead vocalist Carlos Zappien, and drummer Sevy Plant who also provides backing
vocals.Zappien's other musical departments are covered by a group of guest musicians.
The band's influences range from classical rock such as The Beatles, to grunge such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam, and
modernalternative rock such as Radiohead and Muse.
Zappien gained a fair amount of attention for their first single “Hold Me Closer”, and continued to receive awareness for
themusic video of their second single "If You Can Find Me". Zappien's self-titled debut album was released on October 20th
2012.
