Zach McCoy is an indie-singer-songwriter from Arkansas. He gained some minor popularity with his debut "Poor Fools", which came out in 2013
and can be categorized under folk music. On his following two releases McCoy experimented with more electronic music that has - whether
intentionally or not - a lo-fi edge to it. After going back to the roots on the forth LP, Mccoy released his latest work "the dirty future" in 2015,
further progressing stylisticly. It features heavy distortion added to the acoustic guitar, making it a somewhat unique combination of folk, lo-fi
and grunge. It is worth mentioning that the Youtube channel "Vsauce" supported the artist by puting parts of the music in it's popular videos. All
of Zach McCoy's music is accessible through Bandcamp.
