Zendad are a Coventry, UK based space-rock band. Their music is influenced by bands like Hawkwind, [L]Ozric
Tentacles[/L] and Gong. The band was formed as a solo project by ambient musician Steve Kavanagh in 2005 to
showcase his original space rock/ambient compositions. He developed Zendad into a live act in 2009 after receiving positive
reviews of his ‘Resistance Is Futile’ album by Andy Garibaldi from CD Services/Dead Earnest. Zendad have since supported Group
X (ex Hawkwind) and Alan Davey’s Eclectic Devils at the 2010 ‘Onboard The Craft Festival’ in Derbyshire, and have recently
done a couple of gigs with Hawklords guitarist Jerry Richards as special guest.
