Zuzu's Petals were an all-female alternative rock band from Minneapolis that first formed in 1988. Formed amid the female rock
band boom of Minneapolis that included the likes of Babes in Toyland, Hole and Smut, Zuzu's Petals developed a strong
underground cult following for their noisy, grunge-inspired sound. After releasing only a few singles and two albums, Zuzu's
Petals ended up eventually disbanding in 1995.
