v-u-den

v-u-den was a Japanese pop trio that was formed in 2004. The group was a super-group of (then) Morning Musume member, Rika Ishikawa, and two unassociated idols, Erika Miyoshi and Yui Okada. Although the group wasn't the most popular Hello! Project group (the more popular acts during these days being the likes of W, Berryz Koubou and Melon Kinenbi, whom the trio seemed to be somewhat modeled after), v-u-den quickly garnered a cult following among the H!P fans. The group split in 2008, after the release of their final single, "Nanni mo Iwazu ni I Love You", a cover song, originally done by Morning Musume. However, in 2009, just a year later, v-u-den was resurrected under the name of Zoku v-u-den, with younger H!P members involved.
