I Was a Teenage Necro

People need to listen to this song and the album it's from "tales from the emancipated head" it's the perfect listening for this halloween season
2Kacey Musgraves
Merry Go Round

If you thought popular country music would never again produce a good song, well that ain't a bad bet but this song is fucking incredible. It's a pretty great antidote to that fucking 'never ever getting back together' check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iJjeWDvh6J0

Forgettable Song

Movie Review: "Red Lights" (2012) What a cast: Robert de Niro, Cillian Murphey, Sigourney Weaver, Elizabeth Olsen. De niro's pretty intimidating in his role and cillian and ms. weaver have great chemistry in a mentor / student realationship, mr. olsen doesn't get much to do unfortunately. Anyway the premise is great two skeptics try to disprove a famous psychic who might have killed his most strident critic 30 years ago. The pacing is all over the place and the final twist is, well underwhelming. But it's mostly a pretty good paranormal thriller 7 out of 10

The Night I Learned How Not to Pray

Movie Review: "The Hole" (2012-been on the shelf since 2009) Joe Dante is the greatest 'course and The Hole is a solid kid-friendly horror film about some teend discovering an endless pit in their basement that unleashes all sorts of paranormal happenings. It's no Gremlins but it's a fine film nevertheless and Dante really gets to let loose in the fantasy sequence inside the HOLE!!! 7 out of 10
