Vinyl: Essentials?

Just acquired a record player today, nothing to play on it however. Today I went out and bought A Love Supreme as it was cheap. Anyone else got any recommendations about what should be necessary to own on vinyl?
1John Coltrane
A Love Supreme

Bought this today! Gonna give it a spin tonight, hoping it sounds just as fresh as it
does on CD. Possibly the greatest album eve made so wither way it's gonna be
better than almost anything else!
2Can
Tago Mago
3Pavement
Slanted and Enchanted

Had a chance to pick this up today as well as ITAOTS but I didn't have enough
money for both these and the Coltrane. I get money soon though so these will be
the next ones I buy.
4Joy Division
Closer

Getting a closer (no pun intended) look at that depressing cover while playing this
morbid masterpiece will really drive home the points Curtis wanted to make.
5Radiohead
Kid A

It's Radiohead. And their best. On vinyl. Say no more right?
6Bob Dylan
Blonde on Blonde

After hearing my Dad's old tapes of Dylan, his lyrics + the crackle = amazement.
Can't wait to collect all his great works on vinyl myself!
7Captain Beefheart and His Magic Band
Trout Mask Replica

This on vinyl? Even more of a head fuck. What a delight for the neighbours!
8 Animal Collective
Merriweather Post Pavillion

Wonder if the cover works on a larger scale? Talk about a trip!
9Nick Drake
Pink Moon

As with Dylan, I've heard Drake + the vinyl crackle. But I wanna discover it all over
again myself, and alone so I can have a cry to the man and his sad tales...
10Tim Buckley
Happy Sad

Seen this in a seaside town months before I got the record player. I need this man.
I love me some Buckley!
11Miles Davis
Bitches Brew

Because more Miles is always good!
12Pink Floyd
The Dark Side of The Moon

Maybe by getting it on record I can discover the depths of it's genius properly.
Gonna get Piper, Animals and Atom Heart Mother too ofc.
13Led Zeppelin
Physical Graffiti

Especially for the interchangeable windows!! In Through The Out Door apparently
has 6 different covers each showing a different perspective so that'd be cool to
have a different one than I have on CD also.
14Weezer
Pinkerton

Its a classic album. Beautiful cover. Why not?
15 Curtis Mayfield
Superfly

It is one of the best produced albums ever made. And besides, I'm guessing James
Carr will be hard to find and I ain't getting What's Goin On to make up my soul
collection. Looking into getting some Sly and the Family Stone as well as some
Aretha!
16Black Sabbath
Master of Reality

Need some Sabbath on my turntable man!
17 Frank Zappa
Freak Out!

Cheapest available out of his classics. Gonna be immense hearing this on vinyl!
18David Bowie
Heroes

Because classic Bowie is essential. As is classic Waits, Kate Bush, Hendrix, Mitchell
and Robert Wyatt!
19King Crimson
In The Court of The Crimson King

Also: Yes, Rush, Deep Purple, Camel, Doors. anything to add to this trip I'm gonna
be going on! #progginitup
20Sonic Youth
Daydream Nation

If I find this cheap it's gettin bought. Fucking classic!
