11.19.12 | I could play it safe and go with Pokemon Black/White 2, but fuck that. I need something new. Something fun and accessible, but still complex in some regards. |
Cygnatti
11.19.12 | the world ends with you is like the best ds game to ever exist and ever will O_O |
ChopSuey
11.19.12 | drawn to life |

11.19.12 | Buy a flashcart and you can have every DS game your heart desires. I personally use cyclods. |
PistolPete
11.19.12 | pokemon black/white (i'm assuming if you have a ds you've played this already)
might & magic: clash of heroes: gorgeous mix of puzzles/RPG battling
new super mario bros: can pick this up anyday and kill hours of time (never gets old)
chrono trigger: RPG, real-time battling, storytelling at it's finest
mario kart DS: so many things to do it will keep you interested for at least a month |
Funeralopolis
11.19.12 | just got pokemon black 2 omg |
PistolPete
11.19.12 | fuck i gotta wait to get black 2 cuz i won't have time until my xmas vacation kicks in. but holy shit im stoked |
Cygnatti
11.19.12 | chrono trigger rules obviously
drawn to life is awesome
might and magic seems really interesting
pokemon black 2 is amazing obvs |
PistolPete
11.19.12 | it's really neat, the units you have to battle with are given to you at random and you try to move them around to make sets of three for attacks and walls (almost pure strategy, there's a bit of level up but don't expect to beat the game because your units are the max level, you need to think every turn through) |
Cygnatti
11.19.12 | interesting
I got nights and the nightmare and I didn't like it nearly as much as I hope. |
Ecnalzen
11.19.12 | Radiant Historia |
ViralOblivion
11.19.12 | Pokemon black 2 is the shit I'm actually playing it right now |
PistolPete
11.19.12 | i haven't tried knights and the nightmare, looks sick based on the description, why didn't you like it? |
Cygnatti
11.19.12 | The system itself was just too limiting ugh
and weapons breaking?
and half the jobs can only face up and left?
and the other half can only face down and right?
you can't do shit damage without using special moves? adfoihoasdhfioahdsfsadkasdhahsdf |

11.19.12 | if you are into puzzle and storyline based games, I would really recommend Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. it's about a group of nine people trapped on a ship and they have to find a way out before nine hours (hence the title). there are different endings based on your choices and all in all, it has a great, engaging storyline.
or you could just get any of the Professor Laytons; the graphics are amazing and the puzzles are quite diverse. the story is quite enjoyable to boost. |

11.19.12 | Thanks a ton, guys. Ive gotten tired of the Pokemon games lately, because they're all the same. Is the new one more unique? |
Yuli
11.19.12 | oh my god InnocentShadow, that first game sounds incredible. |
TRMshadow
11.19.12 | The World Ends With You without a doubt. Innovative gameplay, great characters, excellent story, everything that's great with Square Enix. Also, if you like kingdom hearts, the brain behind that had a major say in how things went in development.
I'd only really recommend a pokemon game if you already love the series. |
PistolPete
11.19.12 | @Cygnatti: I just watched one boss battle from that game...the characters yelling the same thing over and over again "Attack IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE!"
yeah that would bother me, battles seem like kind of a clusterfuck too, too much going on not enough time to think |
Cygnatti
11.19.12 | the new one rox sox but it's mostly more of the same, still rules ofc
I've heard of the 999 game, it sounds amazing but don't really know anything about it. |
PistolPete
11.19.12 | i personally can't appreciate story-driven games, they often have too much reading of dialogue and not enough "doing" for my taste (i'm a little ADD though that's prolly why). Just...when you have a game like that there's usually very little replay value. I guess with 999 there are alternative endings but you still have to run though practically 80% of the same shit again to get to it. |
Yuli
11.19.12 | Ooh yeah, I've heard amazing things about the Phoenix Wright games. I know I'd love them. |
tempest--
11.19.12 | Drawn to Life is good.
Pokemon Black/White 2 if you can't decide after all this. Spent over 100 hours in just a month already haha.
Spider-Man 3 is a good DS game and the LEGO games too. Out of the LEGO games I played, Star Wars: The Complete Saga was the best and then probably Batman. |
Calc
11.19.12 | Contra 4 will keep you busy
