I Rec'd These To A Professor Of Music

He wanted electronica recs so I gave him this list. It's pretty obviously a mix of genre staples and recent trending music, but that's how it goes. Do you guys have recommendations in response?
1Amon Tobin

Foley Room - Simply one of the best sample albums out there. "Always" is a highlight.
2Aphex Twin

The founder of IDM (Intelligent Dance Music). I'm partial to his album Come To Daddy,
specifically the track "Flim."
3Autechre

Very similar to Aphex Twin in style.
4The Avalanches

Pretty sure Since I Left You was the second-ever entirely sample-based album. It's
golden.
5Burial

The epicenter of South London dubstep. Rich electronic texture with evocative vocal
samples. The perfect night driving music.
6DJ Shadow

Endtroducing... - First ever entirely-sample based album. Essential.
7The Flashbulb

A European producer. Soundtrack To A Vacant Life is a masterpiece.
8Flying Lotus

steep learning curve, but brilliant. His newest album is his most accessible.
9Four Tet

If you listen to Burial, listen to Four Tet and vice versa. Their collaborations are gold. I
recommend "She Moves She" as a good starting track.
10How to Dress Well

low-fi R&B with electronica influence. "& It Was You" is a great place to start.
11J.Viewz

This. This is so good. There's electronica influence, but it's simply an element in the
overall purpose of the music. He's a New York Trip-Hop producer, but his music deftly
blurs all genre borderlines. "Salty Air" is a good intro track.
12Jaga Jazzist

jazz fusion / art rock / electronica. "Mikado"
13Jai Paul

he's released two songs total, both of which are golden. Listen to both.
14James Blake

A londoner who's combined Burial's aesthetic with his own brand of minimalism and
soul. "Limit To Your Love"
15Jessie Ware

a South London soul-pop singer. Her music is heavily influenced by the London
electronica scene. "Taking In Water" is great.
16Koreless

"Lost in Toyko" is a great track. It's the only track I've heard of the artist, but it's
awesome.
17Massive Attack

also essential. A foundation of the Trip-Hop genre. Start with Mezzanine, a classic.
18Max Richter

gorgeous, minimal electronic neoclassical compositions.
19Nicolas Jaar

he's been making music since the age of 14. He studied at Brown University and now
owns his own record label. Start with "Space Is Only Noise If You Can See." The
groove is golden. I've never heard quarter notes sound so good.
20Nujabes

Japanese jazz fusion hip-hop electronica. He wrote a soundtrack for a japanese
cartoon show centered around hip-hop and samurai culture. I really like "Reflection
Eternal," "Aruarian Dance," and "Lady Brown."
21Royksopp

smooth sweden electro. "Remind Me" and "So Easy"
22Stateless

"Ariel" is perfect
23Submotion Orchestra

Finest Hour is an extremely accomplished album that bears heavy electronica
influence but transcends genre border lines.
24Sufjan Steven

The Age Of Adz. You'll never hear anything else like it. It's brilliant. It's beautiful.
Listen to the album in it's entirety.
25Suzanne Ciani

electronica pioneer for decades. "The Velocity of Love" is a very pleasant track.
26Swarms

Old Raves End is a great album. "Flikr Of Ur Eyes" is my favorite track.
27Trent Reznor and Atticus Rose

you know the Facebook movie? They made the soundtrack and it's great.
