| Album's I Have Been Getting Into Lately
These are albums that I have found recently, being either by artists that I have known about for a long time and merely never listened to, or bands that I have recently discovered and been listening to one or two albums by them obsessively. | 1 | | Primordial To The Nameless Dead
Finding out about these guys from the last metal listening party, and being instantly hooked by Empire Falls, I went out and found the CD straight away, and I was definitely not disappointed at all. A fabulous album. | 2 | | Contrive The Meaning Unseen
Australian band that I have been meaning to listen to for ages, and their album is worthy of me listening to it constantly. | 3 | | Behemoth Demigod
Having recently gotten into the blacker side of metal, these guys have been a perfect gateway from what I normally listen to and into black metal. I absolutely adore this album. | 4 | | Opeth The Roundhouse Tapes
Loving Opeth like every good metalhead does, I checked out this album, and have been unable to stop listening to it. Sounding studio quality, but with the energy that is live Opeth, how can you not love it? | 5 | | Trivium The Crusade
Being disgusted the first time I heard this album, it was put in the CD rack, not even gracing my itunes with it's goodness. However after seeing them live, a new respect for Trivium bloomed, and since then i have been able to listen to a few good songs off the album quite regularly. | 6 | | Eminem The Eminem Show
So very different to everything else on this list. But remembering this album from the good ol' days when every kid liked rap, I decided to pull it out of retirement, and found a fairly consistent album. | 7 | | Novembre The Blue
Another great band discovery as of late thanks to sputnik, this one is on high circulation on my itunes. | 8 | | Radiohead In Rainbows
I used to find Radiohead a little dull and boring, but after listening to this album through a couple of times, I have found it to be quite an exciting ride. | |

12.14.07 | for 5 i loved it when it first came out. then as time went on i noticed how sloppy a lot of the songwriting was. still there are a couple of good songs on it. 1,4,7,8 are great albums as well | McP3000
12.14.07 | i love 8, and 6 has some really good moments | Bfhurricane
12.14.07 | 3 rocks, and 5 has a few saving graces | Tyler
12.14.07 | um three isn't close to being black metal so i dont know what's up with your description but good job with 1 | SynGates
12.14.07 | what exactly is 7? | Cornelius
12.15.07 | Yeah, I know 3 isn't proper black metal, but their old stuff is, and as I said, the blacker side of metal, meaning that it is moreso than the stuff i was listening to previously.
7 is a really good album, i suggest you check it out. | Phil
12.15.07 | The Blue is ok but they dont do anything good in the quiet sections which is a major disappointment. | Cornelius
12.15.07 | Yeah, that was a little disappointed, nevertheless, the heavy bits make up for it well. | Jim
12.15.07 | good call on 2 and surprisingly 6. the eminem show is a personal favourite of mine and a album i liked when i was younger. hell, i still get it out now.
