Meshuggah Didn't Inspire Djent!!

This guy, haha. I saw this and was like, lol dude u dun kno DJENT. Everybody knows that Djent was underground before Meshuggah were even born! Meshuggah only brought it into da mainstreem lol wtf Ps.: On a serious, non-sarcastic note, i don't back up that Meshuggah "founded" Djent. They founded their own style, and a myriad of band sprung out of it, adding some fitable gimmicks and calling it Djent. Which imo is a legit tag that helps me tell them apart. List is my fav Meshuggah albums, in order.
1Meshuggah
Koloss

Most dynamic 'shuggah album. Songs like "The Demon's Name Is Survaillance" and
"The Hurt That Finds You First" feel like coming from a revitalized band that still has
a lot to give.
2Meshuggah
Catch Thirtythree

A cleverly assembled head trip. Fucking good.
3Meshuggah
Nothing

Up to Catch 33's level, as far as my liking for both albums go. The fact that this
has some of the best Meshuggah jams ever released is beyond negation.
4Meshuggah
Destroy Erase Improve

The album that changed the face of the Earth as we know it. So much goodness.
Putting in context with the time by which it was released, this might be one of the
most important albums ever released.
5Meshuggah
Chaosphere

Great album. A path defining album for the band. By then people knew, Meshuggah
were bringing da Djentz to teh mainstreem
6Meshuggah
Obzen

Even though it's one of the albums like the least, i still find it outstanding as it has
arguably some of the best Meshuggah tracks. "Bleed" and "Lethargica" bring the
chaos and the junz, respectively.
7Meshuggah
Contradictions Collapse

By then, Meshuggah didn't go past being a by the numbers Thrash band, letting out
the fact that the last few tracks of this album were already great, and they knew
what to do with their career by then. And so None came to life, which is a fucking
good EP.
