08.24.13 | Check out Stanley Kubrick's movies. He was an incredibly talented filmmaker who has made so many masterpieces. His best movies, in my opinion: Full Metal Jacket, 2001: A Space Odyssey, The Shining, and A Clockwork Orange (which is my favorite movie). |
jdennis31
08.24.13 | Is A Clockwork Orange not as fucked up as I remember it being, or do the masses just like fucked up movies? I watched it when I was younger and didn't like it at all, but I may have just not understood it.. |
Muisc4Life26
08.24.13 | I agree. |
Muisc4Life26
08.24.13 | Did you read the book? |
jdennis31
08.24.13 | Nah. I wasn't even aware it was based off a book. I've been meaning to rewatch it, but I just can't get into older films. |
Judio!
08.24.13 | jdennis21: Yes, it is still fucked up. I've never given a shit about what the masses think, I'm just recommending movies based on what I personally like. It's not at all hard to understand, though, and I can definitely see why you wouldn't like it as a kid. You might want to give it a rewatch.
Muisc: Yes, I have read the book. |
jdennis31
08.24.13 | Werd. I wasn't insinuating that you were following the masses, just that it is quite a popular movie. Will definitely rewatch. |
Judio!
08.24.13 | Oh I know, you just asked me if the masses liked fucked up movies. What I said came out wrong; I meant to say that I can't speak for the masses, I can only speak for myself. Anyway, enjoy the rewatch! |

08.24.13 | It's an excellent movie with a great plot and magnificent acting. If you're ok with black and white films you'll probably like all 3 of them. Sunset Blvd. is also one of my all time favorites. |
