09.26.13 | Disliked: Basic Channel - BCD (understood the aim, but too tedious).
Placebo - Loud Like Love (this is laughably weak).
Other than those two, I either liked or loved the rest. Zomby's latest was a bit middle of the road type stuff. Second album is pure sloppiness.
Favs on the list: Savages (probably one of my aoty, best post-punk I've heard in awhile). ASC - Environments / Zomby - Where Were U In '92? / Emika / either of the Kryptic Minds / Forest Swords (quite peculiar, almost ethereal in sound, keen to see what his just released album sounds like). |
