Being totally serious, they're just extremely primitive and musically uninteresting, which, for the first case, you can't really blame them because they were one of the first metalcore acts so obvs they're not very developed, but that doesn't change the fact that other people have taken their sound (or parts of it) and done it better and in a more interesting way, so I don't see any reason why I should waste my time listening to them when I could listen to something... well better.
I can see the appeal of "no bullshit" thing (although the added effects to the vocals and the terrible-but-really-heavy production don't help in that), but it bores me |
