12.19.13 | The funniest comics are the ones that hit on stuff that only a certain culture or nationality finds hilarious for sometimes obscure reasons, their quirky or subtle humor is not understood worldwide. Probably why many british comics dont get laughs from americans and vice versa. |

12.19.13 | From a neutral standpoint British comedians are much funnier IMO than American comedians, not because I don't find some Americans funny but because British comedians have better comedic timing and are less pretentious. They seem to be less scripted and can be more "off the cuff" so to speak. |

I dunno really, went to a comedy club in NYC few years back and it was hilarious, really surreal bizarre stuff some of it, totally unlike a lot of brit comics who just go on about drugs (giggle), relationships or set out to shock.
