Subsequent Albums That Flunked
Albums that followed a good album, but were, well... shit, in comparison. |
20 | | Confession The Long Way Home
While not a bad album, it didn't quite live up to expectations. Some okay tracks here. |
19 | | Behind Crimson Eyes Behind Crimson Eyes
Probably the reason for their demise. Complete change in style. And not for the better. |
18 | | Parkway Drive Atlas
Didn't hold my attention at all unfortunately. |
17 | | The Devil Wears Prada 8:18
Weird production. Songs were not memorable. |
16 | | All That Remains Overcome
Kind of hard to top The Fall of Ideals. I'll give them that. Didn't quite feel this album. |
15 | | Mayday Parade Anywhere But Here
A Lesson in Romantics will always be their best work. This was pop at best; appealing to children I guess. |
14 | | The Getaway Plan Requiem
BORING. |
13 | | Monty Are I Break Through the Silence
Underrated band considering their debut album, but this album truly hindered any further recognition. Average. |
12 | | The Crimson Armada Conviction
Too many bands playing it safe. This was a joke of an album. |
11 | | Miss May I At Heart
Saw this coming, what with Monument being a touch above average anyway. |
10 | | Motionless in White Infamous
What the actual fuck happened to MIW? Creatures was incredible. |
9 | | All That Remains For We Are Many
Again, hard to top The Fall of Ideals, but even on its own, this is a painfully mediocre and boring album. |
8 | | Suicide Silence The Black Crown
With all due respect to Mitch, this album was rubbish. |
7 | | Before Their Eyes Untouchable
Such an inconsistent, awkward and uncertain band. Their debut album showed potential though. |
6 | | Confide All Is Calm
I need to deal with the fact that there will never be a Shout the Truth 2.0. This was crap. |
5 | | Broadway Gentlemen's Brawl
Some may have enjoyed it, but Kingdoms was massive for me at the time, so this was just a horrible album for me considering the major style change. |
4 | | For the Fallen Dreams Wasted Youth
Half-assed album, if that. Weird transitions. Terrible cleans. I think I somewhat enjoyed one song from this album. |
3 | | Woe is Me Genesi[s]
Never has a band disappointed me more. Number[s] displayed so much potential, despite its 'generic' sound. Then again, the band did go through a bunch of weird-ass line-up changes and feuds. |
2 | | Of Mice & Men Restoring Force
Playing it safe. Too safe. |
1 | | Sleeping With Sirens Feel
Just a piece of shit album. Doesn't hold a candle to their previous work. |
