04.13.14 | Great list man, always nice to see lists about the 60s-70s. Props for 12 and 20. Seeing that you're into the blues, two albums that came out that year and are incredible are:
Johnny Winter - Johnny Winter
Howlin' Wolf - The Howlin' Wolf Album
Apart from these, I'd add:
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
The Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
Grateful Dead - Live / Dead
Free - Tons of Sobs |

04.13.14 | I like King Crimson but I really don't enjoy most of ItCotCK. I know that's weird.
Uncle Meat is a good one too. Yes is good but the difference between The Yes Album/Fragile/Close to the Edge and Yes/Time and a Word is monumental. |

04.13.14 | No Arthur :( |

04.13.14 | Nice to see John McLaughlin and Tony Williams on here. Do you not like In A Silent Way, Eternal Rhythm, Karma, or Moondog? What about Townes Van Zandt? |

04.13.14 | phallus dei, trout mask replica and eternal rhythm would probably be my top 3 and none of them are here wow |

04.13.14 | Nice to see Janice Joplin on a list. I would add the Velvet Underground's self titled. |

04.13.14 | The only Miles I really enjoy is Bitches Brew. I like fusion but most other forms of jazz I just can't get into. I don't know what Eternal Rhythm, Karma or Moondog are off the top of my head. |
HenchmanOfSanta
04.13.14 | And I realize that In a Silent Way was fusion as well, but it doesn't do as much for me. |

04.13.14 | Eternal Rhythm is a Don Cherry record. It's free jazz. Moondog an eponymous record that's my favorite Third-Stream type Jazz recording. Karma is by Pharoah Sanders who is essentially the prodigy of John Coltrane and it is more avant-garde type Jazz.

05.27.14 | 4 sure is a hard 5, but I would include In a Silent Way and In the Court of the Crimson King. |
