R6Rider 07.07.14	Dude I know how you feel. I turned 30 last December and I've been doing the whole band thing for the last 8 years. It's next to impossible to find people that are dedicated musically, even though everyone that plays an instrument considers themselves a "musician". I've got a friend that's been helping me record all my stuff which is cool, but it sucks trying to find people that can or want to play it.
beefshoes 07.07.14	I gave up on trying to find bands and trying to seriously play music after I graduated high school. I find playing music to be more rewarding as a pastime, and I was sick and tired of playing in core bands. If I found some dudes who were into playing black metal or prog rock, that could change however. Just do whatever fulfils you and don't put up with any bullshit that can be tossed aside. It's better to do something that you enjoy and struggle with it as opposed to the opposite in most cases.
