Just a couple of some albums which i really really love but don't get much of it back from others in return =( | 1 | | Patrick Wolf Wind In The Wires
Yeah, so Wolf is a little strange (and oh-so-pretty), but whatever you think of him, Wind in the Wires is still one hell of an album. Think violin driven melancholic indie songwriting a la Andrew Bird and the electronic influence of CocoRosie. | 2 | | Spank Rock YoYoYoYoYo
This is one the best produced albums I've ever heard with a massive injection of fun and sex to boot. I mean, Spank Rock makes 'Lil Wayne look cute. And the beats. Oh the beats. It's like electro-house-Baltimore-Miami funk-rap-rock greatness. For fans of anything fun. | 3 | | Persefone Truth Inside The Shades
With all the hype surrounding albums like Disillusion, Orphaned Land, Opeth and Edge of Sanity, I'm sorta sad that these guys don't get the same sorta credit around here, or anywhere for that matter. It's in the same vein of melodic atmospheric progressive metal that the bands above have got, only with some awesome, awesome orchestral elements thrown in. | 4 | | Aghora Aghora
Sean Reinart and Sean Malone were in this band. I really don't shouldn't need to say more, but my gawd does this album absolutely rock. Instrumentally off the wall with songwriting to match, and drawing off the eastern sounds that Gordian Knot had and the weird heaviness of Cynic, and a female singer to go with. Awesome awesome awesome. | 5 | | Justin King Le Bleu
This is my favorite acoustic album ever. I still remember seeing a video of Justin play once and was totally blown away. Finally managed to find this album and it's still got me mesmerized today. He's got the skill of greats like Leo Keotte and Michael Hedges, but has got his own style that just totally captivating. | 6 | | Organized Konfusion Organized Konfusion
Y'know, I'm gonna put out the claim that this album has probably THE best lyrics of any rap out there. And coupled with some funky as hell beats, it really is an amazing album. Shame it never got more kudos. | |

05.13.08 | I totally agree with 4. I haven't heard the rest, but I'm guessing they're not similar to 4. | StreetlightRock
05.13.08 | Not really, but if you want a damn good metal record I highly suggest you check out Truth Inside The Shades. | Kiran
