09.26.14 | Haven't heard a lot of these before. I'm liking 1 so far. |
climactic
09.26.14 | if its post metal and its not part of the holy trinity theres a good chance its super boring. which ones of these would you say are the most unique? |

09.26.14 | 2, 3, and 7 are all u need
and you can obviously trust me on that |
RogueNine
09.26.14 | Will check 1 nonetheless. |
Shuyin
09.26.14 | 6 is ok, but their first 2 albums are way superior
also, Lantlos! |
teamster
09.26.14 | Melting Sun is my AOTY but it's not post metal - post rock, yes. Also, this list could be much different
by the end of the year once Amia Venera Landscape, Jakob, and Rosetta release their new shit.
Honorable Mentions:
Nomia
Vy Pole
Outwailed
Barrows
These Are My Tombs

09.26.14 | Allochiria was a pleasant surprise [2]. Been looking for some good post metal for a while now, this did the trick. |

09.26.14 | If you liked that, check out Fleshworld. Their debut had some good stuff. |

09.26.14 | well this is a list I should probably keep in mind. as long as it isn't stereotypical CoL worship I'm interested. bookmarked.
PS. Latitudes are heading to the studio at the end of September (so right about now really). they're definitely one of the most interesting bands I've heard that has post-metal influences. |

RogueNine

09.27.14 | Honorable Mentions: Falloch
Your fucking joking, right? |
teamster
09.27.14 | @emester: It's a bit of a stretch I know but gone are the "gazy" elements from their debut Where Distant
Spirits Remain. It's more post rock with a bit of atmosphere like Anathema. I just wanted to get the album
on the grid.
I'll edit the list and add Minneapolis post metal band Nomia. |

09.27.14 | mmmm that Irreversible album slays. "I can smell the way the people live 'ere". |
PistolPete
04.17.20 | Wow 2014 really was a good year for this genre. Pretty stacked. That Irreversible album may go down as one of my top for the decade if I can be honest. |
