Harry Potter Films Ranked

Harry Potter has been huge part of my childhood, even i didn't really read the books, except for rChamber of Secrets. I've always loved the films and they really influence my imagination. there is rmy opinion on what i think rare the best Harry Potter films and btw this list does have spoilers, rso if you haven't seen Harry Potter, i wouldn't suggest you to go to this list.
1John Williams
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

The Prisoner of Azkaban is a film i well never get tired of, it's dark, the development of
the characters are amazing, it changes the story in a complete different way. Sirius Black
puts you on your toes, a tormented man who was insanely creative and powerful.
Prisoner of Azkaban had nail bitting moments from the werewolf scene, the dementors,
when Harry Potter rode Hagrid hippogriff Buckbeack was one of my favorite moments
just based on the Atmosphere. This film is twisted, haunting and nostalgic. Harry
Potter's magnum Opus imo
Rating- 10/10
2Howard Shore
The Two Towers: The Complete Recordings

''Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt.1''
I really loved this film, just based on the chemistry that Harry, Ron and Hermoine
had ever since the beginning. The Horcruxes brought another level of despair and
imagination to the series. Each of them were different but fantastic. The Deathly
Hallows Pt.1 is a gripping film based on it's stellar performances and creative
storyline.
9.5/10
3James Newton Howard
The Village

''Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire''
A entertaining film to the masses! The Goblet of Fire introduced us to a lot of twists,
the return of the Dark Lord, the intense challenges and the shocking death of Cedric
Diggory. The Goblet of Fire is a suspenseful, edge of your seat movie, cause each
character brings out a different attitude that you either love or hate. The maze
scene will always go down is one of my favorite scenes in Harry Potter history.
rating- 9.5/10
4John Powell
How to Train Your Dragon

''Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Pt.2''
The battle of Hogwarts faced the end of an fantastic franchise. Hogwarts where
about to go against Voldemort's army. This film was dynamic the whole way
through, tons of action and lots of emotion. This was a life and death situation.
Deathly Hallows Pt.2 is an excellent movie, that ended the Harry Potter franchise
correctly.
Rating- 9/10
5Hans Zimmer
The Lion King

''Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince''
I really enjoyed the Half Blood Prince, the chemistry between Harry and Dumbledore
was utterly fantastic and you can see more of the paranoia in the Harry get bigger
and bigger. Half Blood carried a dark atmosphere throughout the whole movie which i
loved. The death of Albus Dumbledore is probably the most famous Harry Potter
moment, just to see how well known he was. Half Blood Prince does have it's moments
but it ain't perfect. To see Snape being the Half Blood Prince really shocked me when i
first saw the movie.
Rating- 8.5/10
6James Horner
Glory

''Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix''
The Order of Phoenix is a film that took me a long time to actually like it, at first i thought the
film was really disappointing to previous ones and there personalities in the film
didn't clash with me. The thing i like about The Order of Phoenix is the plot is quite
different but it keeps the Movie consistent and well thought out, the battle scene
between Dumbledore and Voldemort is by far one of the best scenes and just the
overall development of the characters are remarkable and let's not forget when Mrs
Umbridge got whopped by those centaurs was so damn satisfying.
Rating- 8.5/10
7John Williams
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

The Chamber of Secrets is much more improved film with a slighter darker edge. This film
does make a great family friendly with a suspenful feel. That makes Chamber of Secrets
really nostalgic and consistent to watch. My favorite scenes are when Harry and Ron
steal the Weasley's car, the Basilisk Scene, the Whomping willow, the flashbacks of Tom Riddle. This film is pretty
unappreciated but still a great one.
Rating- 8/10
8 John Williams
Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone

Due to it's nostalgia and incredible soundtrack. The first Harry Potter film is a family fun
movie that has a lot of entertaining scenes, but i don't think it was as strong as the
other ones, but it does have memorable scenes like quidditch, chess scene, the sorting hat and our
introduction to Hogwarts and Diagon Alley
My rating- 8/10
