I really like this band a lot. Though I will admit that their style of music is something that has a certain kind of audience. They were much better before Criss Oliva was killed in the car accident. Some people might say that they are a "downer" band. I do not think so. I think that the song writing and the over all talent level in the band is very good !! I like the lyrics, because they make you think. The "Streets" ( A rock opera ) album blows me away every time that I hear it. It has something for all taste. Blistering Gutars and the lyrics are fabulous ! A must have for any " Prog Metal fan !! | | 2 | Overkill
What can you say about Overkill !! They have been for a while now around for a long time. I think that every Album they come out with is better than the one before it. !! That is hard to do . Over kill to me is a "KICK ASS !!" Thrash Metal band. The singer's voice is perfect for their style of music. I love their lyrics and their Balls to Wall Speed metal. Because you won't find any soft ballads here. The Musicianship in this band is A1. | | 3 | Accept
I have been listening to Accept for a long time now !! The Live album that they cam out with a few years back ("Final Chapter") was suppose to be the last thing, Or so that was what I was told.!! It really Kicks ass and and the all the members really show their Chops !! I can listen to it repeatly over and over, because it is one of the best "Live" albums of all time !! | | 4 | Wicked Lady
I never even heard of this band until just recently... I love their sound ! The guitarist uses some really cool Wah wah effects and his sound is raw and powerful. Their songs are very intricate and every time I listen to them. They become my favorite for awhile !! Killer Lyrics, Good Singer ( a lot of people don't like the Singers voice, but I think that it is great !!.It fits the music !! I wish that I had heard of them when they first came out. Because I have never seen them Live, But I bet they really kick some ass. Especially The" Axeman Cometh" and " Life and Death" or for that matter every song they play kicks ass !! It would take me to long to review this band. If you get a chance to get the Only Album that they ever did get it !! You will Not Be disappointed They are KIller !! Chris Caffery is a super star talent on Guitar !! | |
