06.18.15 | I'm a sucker for colored vinyl, but I'm getting real fed up with the people that press the albums I listen to. Some brand new records come absolutely unlistenable with scratches everywhere. Part of it is poor packaging and handling, but I think the quality control is out the door and these companies are trying to capitalize on the trendy audience who buys crosley's and Black Keys records from Urban Outfitters. Makes me a little discouraged but goddammit my collection is getting too personally gratifying to stop. |

MadMagicMike: I hear ya. It may be the natural pessimist in me, but I think it's going to get worse from here on out. Oversaturation and forty-dollar single LP reissues within the next year or so. At least they'll be on a cool colour, right?

06.19.15 | I honestly got home fucking shit-housed and didn't even look, but I'm pretty sure it's just black- I guess It'll be a surprise. The show was awesome, better than last time I saw them, which was right before It's All Crazy came out. The new songs sounded splendid.
Foxing fucking killed it with their set too. Very impressive. |

Just recently picked up the Blink 182 represses from Hot Topic, the last 2 Blood Brothers albums, and the Virgin Suicides Soundtrack.
Heard a lot of good things about that Castlevania soundtrack. Still need to get the Tenement 2LP but the price is killer :( |

Finally got around to opening the sleeve. The vinyl is half translucent olive (kind of) and half opaque dark green/blue. It was quite the surprise. |
