Some Favorites of 2015

And Just Like That The Year Is Gone is a song by the Connecticut screamo trio Jeromes Dream, but that song came out 16 years ago, so it's irrelevant to this list. Today I want to mention some of my favorite releases of 2015. Not ranked, just rambles.
1Cherubs
2 YNFYNYTY

Noise rock - Easily my favorite release of the year. Shit really lived up to their 90's classics; It's an absolute shock to hear how well these dudes aged. Goofy, weird fun for the whole family. (Favorite Tracks: Cumulo Nimbus, Evil Mary Acre, Sunday Mondays)
2Toby Fox
Undertale Soundtrack

Electronic - This game was surprisingly really damn good. There's a ton of flaws, don't get me wrong, but it's incredibly fresh. Not only that, but it's soundtrack is absolutely great. Some of the stuff here legit made me feel incredible, like I can take on the world. If this dude where to start a career in music, I would buy every single thing he would make. (Favorite Tracks: Another Medium, Hopes and Dreams, Asgore's Theme)
3How Scandinavian
The Kinch Service

Indie rock - Joyfully depressing poppy indie rock that I felt deserved way more attention. Seriously, these guys are going places. (Favorite Tracks: Fables, Monday, Acquaintance Now)
4Earl Sweatshirt
I Don't Like Shit, I Don't Go Outside

Hip-hop - Incredibly murky, pessimistic shit with a lot of character to it. (Favorite Tracks: Faucet, Off Top, DNA)
5Local H
Hey, Killer

Hard rock - Classic band, man. Like always, the 'H brings out some crunchy, catchy-as-fuck jams that makes the wait for the album worth it. (Favorite Tracks: The Misanthrope, One Of Us, John The Baptist Blues)
6Clipcord
EP

Punk - The fact that these guys broke up like immediately after they released this pisses me off to no end. (Favorite Tracks: Cry, Wear Yourself)
7Drenge
Undertow

Indie Rock (Favorite Tracks: Favorite Son, The Woods)
8Sensory Deprivation
Unsound

Post-hardcore (Favorite Tracks: No Future, Self-Degrading Plan)
9Instead of Flowers
Their Loss is Something to Remember

Noise rock (Favorite Tracks: Stained Palm, God Frowns)
10Absolute Hell
Endless

Noise - This made me feel like I was walking down a dark tunnel with the knowledge that someone is behind me and they might just kill me
