| I HAVE A QUESTION?
so I've spent the last couple months doing bits and pieces of work on some heavier, more minimal techno than I usually make. Some may remember my other project, Bruce Lasagna, is largely hook based and groove-heavy, so I have created a new name and concept for the darker music: Bore. I said once to a friend, "I think the word bore implies drilling, something that I believe ought to be associated with techno music". This is the basis on which I have constructed this project. The potent transience of a "hook" is not for all times. Maybe you need to lower your head and twist your ankles and hope that when you close your eyes you can cry ecstasy tears out of your finger tips instead. So, my dilemma is this one: I have an EP's worth of material to put out under this new name and concept, but I also have some that I would put out under Bruce Lasagna. I'm not going to release it all at once for some reason. Is there any heightened interest in one or the other? List is things that the new shit sounds like and my Bruce Lasagna albums. | 1 | | Nina Kraviz Nina Kraviz | 2 | | Bjarki Arthur And Intergalactic Whales | 3 | | Marcel Dettmann Dettmann | 4 | | Bruce Lasagna Bruce Lasagna | 5 | | Bruce Lasagna Los Arboles | |
