Artists/bands i'm seeing (or planning on seeing) 2016
1Troye Sivan
Blue Neighborhood

(September 9th)
Saw him at one of his few exclusive europe shows last year. Super good for being really mainstream pop.
2Moderat
II

(September 10th)
Yusss. So looking forward to this show. Thinking that it's gonna be really good. Telefon Tel Aviv are supporting too so that's yet another plus.
3Hoodie Allen
Happy Camper

(September 11th)
3 shows, 3 days in a row, yo. Not a huge Hoodie Allen fan, but he has some nice songs. Basically my friend who wants me to tag along so that's one of the main reasons.
4LANY
kinda

(September 14th)
One of my favorite bands, some sweet 80's influenced yet wholly modern electronic pop.
Been waiting for them to play here for awhile, and yuss.
5Om Unit
Threads

(September 17th)
Stoked for this. Thinking that he'll probably play more of his footwork/juke/jungle stuff rather than the slower more melodic stuff that I prefer, still going to be cool though. He's playing with Skeptical at a local club here, might turn out cool.
6Veil of Maya
The Common Man's Collapse

(October 5th)
To be honest, might go to this show for nostalgia's sake, but I doubt that i'll even go. It's a line-up 19 year old me would've died for though. VOM/Born Of Osiris/Volumes/Black Crown Initiate.
But yeah nah. Possibly maybe.
7Watsky
x Infinity

(October 7th)
Getting stoked for this one. Never listened all too much to his stuff, but his new album sounds good from what i've heard. My friend, who also happens to be a rapper, turned me onto his stuff.
8JMSN
The Blue Album

(October 10th)
Has been one of my favorite artists for quite some time. Unfortunately for me, he has been moving towards a sound that i'm less drawn to than the earlier stuff. He is always getting better and stuff, but for me the minimalistic, electronic, almost future garage:y type of beats with his introspective lyrics did a lot for me. Apparently he's not really playing anything from the first two albums (or well, the first album and the EP) which are my favorites. But I take what I can get, everything from him has been solid nonetheless.
9Bear's Den
Red Earth & Pouring Rain

(Oct 18th)
This is more on a whim. Haven't listened much, saw that they're playing, might check it out. Sounds like something I might enjoy.
10James Vincent McMorrow
We Move

(Oct 22)
I think this might be pretty cool. I for one like that he's moved toward more of an R&B-y vibe, and it makes sense since it feels like he's been doing that gradually with every release.
Seeing this show means that i'm missing the Turnover/Sorority Noise show though, which is a bummer.
11Katatonia
Dead End Kings

(Oct 29)
Well, Katatonia is one of the very few bands in the genre of more traditional yet gloomy rock that I like, and it feels like it's gonna be the perfect time to see them, during the fall when everything is grey and dreary. Might go. Agent Fresco is supporting as well and i'm a bigger fan of them than Katatonia tbh.
12Russian Circles
Guidance

(Oct 30)
In the wake of their new album, that i've heard so so much good about, I of course want to see them again. Already seen them once, and it was good but I wasn't that focused on the show itself I think.
13Obscura
Omnivium

(Nov 9)
I'm not into death metal or metal overall that much anymore, but this lineup is pretty chill so I might have to check it. Obscura, Beyond Creation, Rivers Of Nihil and Revocation.
14Radical Face
The Family Tree: The Roots

(Nov 11)
Haven't listened that much but i've enjoyed what i've heard so might check it.
15Mick Jenkins
The Water[s]

(Nov 12)
Yeah, like this dude. Will probably be good.
16letlive.
If I'm the Devil...

They're supporting Pierce The Veil, a band that I don't like that much. BUT Letlive has been one of the best live bands i've seen, despite them not even being in my top 100 favorite bands i'd reckon.
17How to Dress Well
Care

(Nov 19)
Will be the third time i see him live, and he'll just have released his new album, so I look forward to hearing more songs from that album. Plus he still hasn't taught me how to dress well, that fucker.
18Bastille
Bad Blood

(Nov. 20)
Missed them all of the other times that they've played here, so might be cool to see them, even though the venue is a lot bigger than what I prefer seeing bands in. Well you can't get everything (or anything) you want.
Look forward to hearing their new album, less than a week away to the release sooo.
19Honne
Gone Are The Days

(Nov 23)
Despite realizing that they are very much too "same-y" after hearing their full-length, I still look forward very much to hearing them live, so good.
20Alcest
Kodama

This one is a bit tricky. Alcest is playing with Mono this day... but not only are Frightened Rabbit playing a gig one the same day, one of my favorite bands, Don Broco, are supporting Bring Me The Horizon at their gig...
So 3 different gigs, where i'm thinking that Don Broco is the band I like the most, Frightened Rabbit the band i think i'd like seeing the most, while Alcest feeling like a band I really should see.
Difficult shit.
