Divaman 01.18.17	Yeah, I've been doing most of that. Don't want to resync it, because while I have all (I think) of the mp3 files saved, I only have about a third of my playlists. (Was never able to figure how to move playlists from my old computer to my current one). But I've been resetting and jiggerypoking like crazy.

Jeffrulesyou 01.18.17	Diva, I used to have the classic 160g one it would do that to me occasionally. I'd hard reset it would work for a little while than shit the bed again. Make sure none of the files on there are funky or corrupt.

Astral Abortis 01.18.17	I seriously don't get anyone's problem with iTunes if it's on OSX. It's the perfect music management program. Just disable cloud and don't log in to the store and it's just a great, good looking and easy to use program that can store all your music. Very easy playlist system and the smart playlist feature is a godsend.

Sinternet 01.18.17	media monkey is a good program, i mainly just use it to sync my itunes stuff to my android phone though i fucking hate itunes because it's a slow cpu-hog mess lacking in most features, but I'm so used to the UI thta fully changing to anything else is weird to me

Divaman 01.19.17	So so far, predictably, Apple support blames Media Monkey. I've got a ticket in with Media Monkey support, which will doubtlessly blame Apple. At least Sputnik is finally working again.

Divaman 01.19.17	I don't know Sniff, I haven't tried yet. I actually spoke to the Apple Support listed on their web site. But here's the kicker -- the iPod is working again, at least for now. I had it plugged into my laptop and was playing some stuff off it while I was playing around on this website, and my daughter's cat knocked it on the ground, causing it to pull out of the laptop without doing a proper disconnect, and now the music files are all back where they should be. So my daughter's cat is a friggin genius!
