| Top 10 All Time Favorite Albums
It's been around a year since I've talked about my favorite things. For this list I really wanted to get rid of a lot of things I don't listen to as often to give a more current representation of my favorite things to listen to. 1 Album per band and there are plenty of honorable mentions that could have made the 10th spot. | | 10 |  | Circa Survive
Blue Sky Noise
Goes very well with Appendage. Easily this band's best and most consistent effort. Anthony Green sounds outstanding

Mothership
I listen to this album and this band far too much to not consider them one of my favorites. I've barely spent a year with it, but this is DGD in top form. As soon as it came out, I became absolutely enthralled with everything this album has to offer whether it be genius or silly. It's almost as if having a consistent lineup helps you grow stronger as a band or something

In Medias Res
Sort of the same story as Mothership, considering I found the two at around the same time. But this album hit me much harder. This album is incredibly easy to relate to but the message it conveys is still very powerful. In Medias Res has become very personnel to me and honestly, I can see this becoming a top 5 album for me. Although this band lives on through their Radiohead influenced atmospheric project, Move Orchestra, it's really a shame they did not continue but when you end your career with an album like this, you don't need to.

The Sufferer and the Witness
As one of this band's post Sufferer fans, it still saddens me that they never even came close to topping this.

The album that got me to give up my idea of "music is only good when it has guitars, drums, and is in the rock genre". Davey and Jade do a lot here. Some moments make you wanna dance, others are beautiful, and others are just, for lack of a better way to describe the feeling, cool as hell.

My friends and I go on the longest car rides listening to this band while screaming every word and being in awe of their astounding musicianship.

Sing the Sorrow
My favorite band. I saw them twice this year and both sets were outstanding (still can't get over that they played Malleus Maleficarum). I'll finish ranking all of their albums as well as Blaqk Audio's albums in the near future.

Wildlife
I change my mood completely whenever I play this. I channel my inner Jordan Dreyer and become some sort of melodramatic preacher that has no trouble making you feel exactly what he is feeling. This album is important and I could probably say that about plenty of albums, especially all of the ones on this list, but this album really feels like something that was meant to be heard by all.

The Dark, Dark Bright
This album does not win the title of "GreyShadow's Favorite Album of All Time" for having my absolute favorite song on it, or for having perfect songs across the board, or even because it is very personnel to me. This is my favorite album because there is no other album that feels like as much of an album as this one does. Plenty albums come close with either a few minor missteps, or just don't do as well as a job as this one. The Dark, Dark Bright just flows like the river on the cover and it never stops. Night walks could not be accompanied by a better package. Epic, beautiful, emotional, and unbelievably heartfelt/real, this has it all. I cannot wait for whatever they do next. And I hope I can experience them live one day.

06.27.17 | I'm a huge AFI fan as well and got to see them FINALLY for the first time in Feb. They didn't play Malleus but they did play some cool stuff like Lost Souls, 6 To 8, Okay I Feel Better Now and Rabbits Are Roadkill. I heard that they played some other super rare gems on this tour like Now The World and Paper Airplanes. So jelly | KManoc1

06.27.17 | Great list. I think Love Always, Levinthan is a little better than 4, DBM1/DBM2 are a little better than 9, and I always love when people give 7 the praise it deserves (why is Good Left Undone not on tracks tho?).
