My Actual Favorite Albums
So I thought i'd release my actual favorite albums, before i'm shunned for being an idiot. Please take note that the use of "best BLANK ever" doesn't refer to your opinions. |
1 | | Our Lady Peace Spiritual Machines
This was my first realy album I ever owned, and I still love it today. A ton of great songs, and excellent guitar work, and a cool "cyber-punk" theme to it. |
2 | | Matthew Good Avalanche
Another Canadian on my list... Great songs, excellent production too. Not awhole lot going on in the guitar department, but I can forgive that since the vocals are so good. |
3 | | Iron Maiden Somewhere in Time
My favourite Maiden album. Its super proggy, and full of rock solid tunes |
4 | | NoFX The Decline
Actually it's an EP.... a one song EP, but its still amazing. Besides being a disk, with awesome music, it's arguably the best song NoFX has ever recorded/ |
5 | | Rush A Farewell To kings
Solid prog rock, great vocals, drums bass, guitar, etc etc. Plus it has Xanadu on it. |
6 | | Pink Floyd Animals
It seems nobody gives this album enough credit. Its my favourite Floyd album, hands down. |
7 | | Primus Brown Album
While not the best Primus album, its my favourite for some bizarre reason.... |
8 | | Megadeth Rust In Peace
Best thrash album ever. Every song is full on rip your face off shred |
9 | | Neil Young Live Rust
Whats not to love? Neil Youg, live, with a ton of music. Bulletproof |
10 | | Death The Sound of Perseverance
My favourite death/prog metal album |
11 | | Coheed and Cambria In Keeping Secrets Of Silent Earth
Speaking of prog, I was introduced to these guys by a friend who called them a punk Rush. I figured that'd be pretty cool, so I picked up the album. It opened so many doors into metal and prog, I am forever grateful |
12 | | Portishead Dummy
weird trip hop. A pretty heavy album too, all things considered |
13 | | NWA Straight Outta Compton
I bought this one on a whim. Pleasently suprised by the awesomeness it contained |
14 | | Judas Priest Painkiller
This album is so awesome it should be everyones favourite |
15 | | The Cardigans Gran Turismo
You can't mgo wrong with swedes. A really cool trip hoppishy weird album. |
16 | | The Tragically Hip S/T
A superb debut. Cool songs, and raw production= fav Hip album |
17 | | Danzig How the Gods Kill
A more subtle Danzig album. At first it didn't hold a candle to II, but it's really grown on me. |
18 | | Red Sparowes At The Soundless Dawn
Epic, sprawling, instrumental rock. My first experience with post metal, and holy shit is this one good. Beautiful lap steel melodies still give me goosebumps |
19 | | Queensryche Promised Land
A huge departure from their previous albums, the vibe on this one is incredible, and the title song alone is worth the price of admission |
20 | | Afroman The Good Times
Super funky rap, and he's got a great voice. Its not the smartest music around, but I still love it. |
