Album Fixup: Team Sleep - Team Sleep

Oh, what this album could have been. An unmastered and uninfished version of Team Sleep's debut album leaked in 2002, causing the group to release an often beautiful, but severely unfocused, scattered and neutered, album in its wake in 2005. This tracklisting combines the best from the unmastered album and the best from the 2005 album. One problem was the album was split between Chino Moreno vocals and vocals from guest singers like Rob Crow and Mary Timony. Not that their performances were bad (well, Mary Timony's performances were actually kinda bad), but this is a Chino Moreno fronted band. A Team Sleep release deserves an album of predominantly Chino vocals. That being said, I will be keeping the Mike Patton-assisted Kool Aid Party because it's a Mike Patton song and also I'm pretty sure Chino does backup vocals on it. Keep in mind that the unmastered album was sort of unfinished in parts, so there would have needed to have been some patching together on the part of the band to make this work. In other words, this is the tracklisting they should have went with. Seriously, how do you leave some of these amazing songs off an album? Songs omitted: Princeton Review (great song, but no Chino), Delorean (basic instrumental), Tomb of Ligiea (corny, repetitive novelty song), Elizabeth (decent song, but no Chino), King Diamond (non-Timony version is better) Paris Arm (basic instrumental), 11-11 (beautiful song, but trying to keep it to 16 tracks and it doesn't quite fit)
