03.03.19 | Honestly, 1 is the most oversaturated here. There's a lot of good ones out there, but too many of them follow the same template: kill people with assorted weapons, uninspired dialogue and quests, and repetitive environments. The only thing that seperates any CoD from eachother are the game titles and occasional zombies or aliens alone. At least Halo had interesting stories to make up for its repetitive gameplay and mechanics.
RPG's are guilty of those things too, but at least a lot of them had cool side quests and plots. |
