All the albums from the first half of the year that I really dug, accompanied by a recommended track for each (Spotify playlist in the comments). Everything is a 4 or higher. Top 10 are ranked, the rest is alphabetical.
yeah combination metal is just a term i made up for metal that takes significant elements from a bunch of different subgenres. both Kaleikr and Inter Arma have bits of death, black, doom, and prog metal in the mix.
