lil peep ranked (what should i review next?)

noticed i'm not the only one who's spending these odd ~quarantimes~ to exercise their writing skills, that being said i'm sure most of you will be happy to hear that i'm done covering peep projects for now because i want to branch out more. anyways, i'm willing to check whatever really, let me know what i should jam/review

0/5. only putting this here to ask, what should i review next now that i'm essentially done covering Peep-related projects? throw your recs at me, and i don't necessarily care when it comes to genres, i just need to branch out more. might review the new Bladee if no one else decides too though, even that's not branching out much lol.

Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 1

unfortunately, this was many people's first exposure to peep. if you haven't listened, i would listen to other projects first but if for some reason you want to put yourself through this appallingly inconsistent project, just skip the singles and go straight into "U Said" onwards. that being said, Benz Truck has an iconic video and was a fun track at the time of its release.

Come Over When You're Sober, Pt. 2

if this were a list in regards to ranking posthumous releases, this would rank somewhere near the top, but in context to peep's discography is just another pop-rap album with a few highlights in the haunting "Leanin" and the emo-rap coke-infused lullaby that is "16 Lines"

Live Forever

did somebody say "lil peep guitar type beat"? because this is what pretty much kicked that trend off. shoutout mysticphonk and brobak though, their production on their respective tracks should not go unnoticed.

Feelz

toxic city and life are great, and the title track has one of the ugliest vocal deliveries i've ever heard. thank god he only did that once.
10Lil Peep
teen romance

a bit hit or miss, especially with the unnecessary horsehead feature, but the title track is one that could easily be defined as Peep's signature depending on who you ask.

Vertigo

okay now we're getting to the good stuff, while this EP kind of left me jarred upon initial listens, it eventually came around and i had a newfound appreciation for it after taking into consideration when/how these songs were made. also where in the world is John Mello?
8Lil Peep and Lil Tracy
Castles

a concise, semi-conceptual ep that its only fault is that it leaves you wanting more. also i want tracy's verse from "white wine" carved into my tombstone.

Goth Angel Sinner

after listening to these songs enough, you know what? i'm starting to kinda feel like fish narc ngl
6Lil Peep
Everybody’s Everything

pretty much a greatest hits record with half being unreleased tracks, put together to be released in conjunction with the release of the documentary of the same name. also fish narc and bighead kill their production spots, but for every 2 great songs there seems to be 1 filler song, so jam at your own discretion lol
5Lil Peep
HELLBOY

if you get it, you get it, and if you don't, this polarizing project certainly wont be the easiest to digest as a first impression. but it is quite the first impression if this is/was your first listen by Peep.
4Lil Peep
crybaby

definitely his most pop lenient mixtape, all these songs flow together incredibly, despite the tracklist being a bit disjointed. also i just reviewed this so check that out too if you want ;)
3Lil Peep and Lil Tracy
Castles II

ok maybe i lied i should probably give this a review at some point. oh, and SWITCHBLADES, COCAINE-

Lil Peep Part One

it's actually somewhat of a shame that Peep was at his most focused on these earlier projects, embodying more of himself rather than the persona of "Lil Peep" that he would go onto accentuate
1Lil Peep
California Girls

everything that made lil peep great all encompassed into 6 perfect tracks (maybe with the exception of "Pray I Die," but even then it's still a solid track), all produced by peep's best collaborating producer Nedarb Nagrom. there isn't really a way to express how this project has affected me over the years, but this is probably the best place to start and easiest to come back to when it comes to peep projects. plus this thing has goddamn Beamer Boy, what more could you want?
