03.05.23 | @Veldin Haven't seen Crimes of the Future yet but it is at the top of my watchlist. Cronenberg films are pretty much always a good time.
@TalonsOfFire Nightmare Alley had a 2022 release date in the UK. |

03.06.23 | Glad to see no Nope. Mad to see no Barbarian. |

03.06.23 | @PitchforkArms I think the first act of Barbarian is some of the best horror within the past decade. The film kinda fell apart for me with the rest of the film. It felt like the film needed a few more rewrites for me. Still really solid though. It just missed my top 15. |

03.06.23 | Damn, I thought the second half was awesome. Super fun, super funny, a little disturbing. I like :) |

03.06.23 | It was still good but it felt slightly underwhelming after the incredible first act. The opening scene to the reveal is genuinely some of the most unsettling moments in modern horror. But yeah, the rest of the film felt tonally off with the comedy. It didn't quite mesh well with me. Also some story threads felt severely underdeveloped. Any scene that took place in the basement though, is incredible. |
