Masochist's Favorite Moments In Music, Vol. III

I did one of these in 2007, I did one in 2008, and I'm doing one now. Yeah. This time you get 30 songs instead of the usual 25, as I've heard lots of incredible moments since the last list. Be sure to check the other two lists before berating me for not including a moment or two ("New Noise" would be on the first one ;-)...).
1A Tribe Called Quest
Electric Relaxation

(Begin - 0:33) - After hearing it on The Wayans Bros., the beginning of this song has been stuck in my head for a decade or so. Only this year did I discover which song it came from.
2Anberlin
(*Fin)

(3:43 - 4:44) - When the choir comes in singing "Patron saint, are we lost like you?" through Stephen's vocalizations
3Blindside
Roads

(3:05 - 3:21) - That jazzy interlude in there; really paints the picture that someone's hitchhiking down a lonely road at night
4BT
Never Gonna Come Back Down

(4:21 - 4:35) - Starting with the line "Say Hallelujah, people; say Hallelujah, oh yes!"
5Coheed and Cambria
Welcome Home

(Begin - 0:50) - The epic intro. Try playing Halo or Call Of Duty to this song...it's amazing!
6Coldplay
Yes

(4:06 - End) - "Chinese Sleep Chant." Technically, this is an entire song, but since it's fused into one track with "Yes," I don't feel so bad. Could you imagine Coldplay releasing a Shoegaze album?
7Cynic
The Space For This

(2:36 - 2:44) - "Must I bend the sky to realize?"
8Deana Carter
Sunny Day

(1:04 - 1:21) - This small little slide guitar insert was all it took for me to buy this c.d. It's unbelievable how simplistic the part is, but how much it brings to the song.
9Deftones
Minerva

(2:25 - 3:24) - The repeated intro part, all the way through the first half of the chorus. This part was chosen specifically for the way Chino sings "And it brings our knees to the Earth!" the last time, and because I really like the refrain to this song.
10Dream Theater
Octavarium

(17:47 - 17:56) - The little off-key "Jingle Bells" part Petrucci throws in there through the randomly thrown-in acoustic guitar; (18:41 - End) - Starting from the line "Our deadly sins fill his mortal wrath" all the way through the end. The entire song is beyond awesome, but the end of it...whoa!
11Dredg
The Canyon Behind Her

(1:09 - 1:38) - The first time you hear the chorus; (3:18 - 3:24) - The dissonant chords in the middle of the song.
12Fair To Midland
Say When

(3:35 - 4:25) - The last time they sing the chorus
13Flobots
Handlebars

(2:44 - End) - Starting from the line "...'Cause I can guide a missile by satellite" through the end of the song
14Good Charlotte
In This Life (Murder)

(Begin - 0:29) - Awesome intro to what is probably Good Charlotte's best song; (2:24 - 2:52) - The bridge up until the chorus comes back in
15Haste The Day
The Minor Prophets

(Begin - 0:23) - I love this intro!
16He Is Legend
(((louds

(3:47 - 5:03) - Beautiful vocalizations!
17Johnny Cash
A Boy Named Sue

(1:53 - 1:59) - "My name is Sue! How do you do!? NOW YOU GONNA DIE!"
18King Crimson
21st Century Schizoid Man

(4:42 - 5:57) - The last third or so of the instrumental interlude, all the way through the bridge until the main chords come back in
19The Mars Volta
Cygnus...Vismond Cygnus

(Begin - 0:50) - The soft acoustic intro, right before the spastic part comes in; (2:15 - 2:23) - "Sangre...son ando...de rabia naci (WHO DO YOU TRUST!?)"
20mewithoutYou
O, Porcupine

(1:48 - 2:00) - "You have a decent ear for notes, but you can't yet appreciate harmony," and the dissonant chords that follow
21Muse
Take A Bow

(3:40 - End) - Starting with "...And burn! You will burn!" through the end of the song.
22Nightwish
Fantasmic

(5:12 - 5:26) - The little flute solo
23NOFX
The Decline

(13:17 - 13:25) - The little guitar part right before the last speaking part; (14:42 - End) - Starting from "He's got his, and I've got mine: meet the decline" through the end. Good stuff.
24Notorious B.I.G.
Big Pappa

(Begin - 0:22) - The intro. This is one of the smoothest beats ever produced in hip=hop.
25Paul Oakenfold
Ready, Steady, Go

(1:06 - 1:23) - The "refrain" of the song, I suppose. Try coming up to a big cosmopolitan or glamorous city on the interstate at night playing this song...Las Vegas works well ;-).
26Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

(2:40 - 3:49) - The instrumental part right after the line "Did you exchange a walk-on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?" through the chorus. I could really give you a billion awesome Pink Floyd, but since I limit myself to one song per artist, you'll just have to wait until next year.
27Sigur Ros
Untitled 8

(6:06 - 9:30) - The build-up to the climax of the song. I think this just might be my favorite Post Rock song.
28Simon & Garfunkel
Bridge Over Troubled Water

(4:15 - End) - The climactic end of the song. It's been stuck in my head since I bought the album earlier this year.
29Spoken
September

(2:48 - 2:54) - The line, "Before I go, please know that I love you," and the pause therein. I finally got to see these guys at a Christian music festival in Texas (Red Letter Rockfest), and it blew me away.
30Thrice
Firebreather

(3:05 - End) - The gang-vocal-saturated outro. Last year I put "Daedalus" on the list instead of this one, so it makes it this year.
