I'm Diggin' A Hole...

Recently downloaded. So far I haven't been disappointed...much.
1Digital Underground
Sex Packets

Refreshing overall sound but I've noticed a lot of the songs on here seem to go on for longer than they should. Keep 'em short, you guys. Gutfest '89 is the most enjoyable track.
2Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To

Jesus christ...someone told me that this band was good sleeping music. I want to punch them in the face. It's way too apocalyptic sounding. Don't get me wrong it's a good album but...not something I want to sleep to again.
3Stetsasonic
In Full Gear

I just started listening to this but it reminds me of Paul's Boutique at moments. Not bad so far.
4The Sea And Cake
The Sea And Cake

I haven't had a chance to really listen to this yet but it seems really promising. I was really surprised it was released in '95.
5Blonde Redhead
Blonde Redhead

This sounded alright at first but...I'm worried about it's longevity. I really wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
6Savoir Adore
In The Wooded Forest

Another that I haven't had a chance to really listen to but this seems to be the album with the most potential on this list.
7The Hives
Black And White Album

Very enjoyable while riding a bike in this weather (sunny, 74ish). It's hard to refrain from hand drumming on the handlebars.
8Eluvium
Lambent Material

I listened to this a couple months ago and didn't care for it...forgot about it for a while and downloaded and listened to it recently...and its a great sleeping album for sure. It's too bad Eluvium's latest album was severely disappointing generic ambient music.
9Wolf And Cub
Science And Sorcery

I could see their psychedelic vision they had for this album but I thought they failed executing it. A lot more of a lo-fi sound compared to their debut.
10Camel
Camel

From what I've heard its quite good classic rock but I haven't been able to listen to in it's entirety yet. Something about it keeps me wanting to change to another album.
11The Who
Quadrophenia

What the hell is wrong with me? I used to never give this album a chance...but now I realize its essential The Who. A bit daunting listening to the whole thing though.
12Spinnerette
Spinnerette

I haven't listened to this in a while...and now I know why. These guys just don't have enough of their own identity. It screams female QOTSA all the way through. For good reason though.
13Crystal Castles
Crystal Castles II

Crystal Castles isn't annoying anymore! I was expecting a more dramatic and sad album by looking at the cover but I turned out to be wrong. Still much better than their first.
14Circa Survive
Blue Sky Noise

Not sure if I can listen to this. The vocalist's voice bothers me too much.
15Band Of Horses
Infinite Arms

Makes me want to listen to their first two albums again. It's not too bad but it's just not very dynamic. Each song is about on the same level.
