Albums To Listen To In The Car
just got my driving license today ^___^; so what to listen to while driving? |
1 | | Sed Non Satiata Sed Non Satiata
haunting screamo with alot of post-rock influences.. album is a bit short in the end and I keep wanting more but its consistent throughout |
2 | | Devil Sold His Soul Blessed & Cursed
first time listening to this band and this is pretty awesome.. catchy post-hardcore mixed with sludge metal.. its feels kind of long overall but nearly no single weak moments on here |
3 | | Lone Wolf The Devil and I
not a lot to say here.. its just a damn solid indie/folk rock release with alot of great tracks.. kept losing track in the middle but there is some astounishing work in here, like "We Could Use Your Blood", "Russian Winter" and "Dead River" |
4 | | Slow Six Tomorrow Becomes You
the opener is such a grand track with its intense build-up and such.. its definitely one of my favourite songs from this year.. the last two songs are really good too but the rest gets boring pretty fast |
5 | | Interpol Interpol
major disappointment.. "Barricade" and "Lights" indicated that this may somehow turn good but no, they have to make the album full of slower ballads that drag the album down |
6 | | Hey Monday Beneath It All
this is so generic it hurts.. opener "Wish You Were Here" is pretty decent but the rest just sucks |
7 | | Primus June 2010 Rehearsal
awesome to hear something new (or not) from them.. they are just as good live as they are in studio.. the jams are awesome |
8 | | The Morning Benders Big Echo
decent indie rock.. nothing stands out (besides the opener probably) and I wont bother listening to this again even though its not bad |
9 | | Kayo Dot Coyote
ok.. never got the hype around this band and this wont change anything |
10 | | The Divine Comedy Bang Goes The Knighthood
starts out great but gets progressively worse |
