Reading Festival

Fucking incredible. Met so many great people, listened to so much awesome music and drank copious amounts of booze. Epic shit.
1Arcade Fire
Funeral

Not just the best show of the entire festival but probably the best i've had
the pleasure of attending. Simply mindblowingly good. Played all their best
songs (apart from In The Back Seat >:[ ) in an epic set. Amazing.
2Weezer
The Blue Album

There was a lot of speculation as to what material they would play and
while they played not a single song from Pinkerton and missed many of
their best songs (Only In Dreams, In The Garage etc), this show was
fucking amazing. Rivers was the man
3 Frank Turner
Love Ire and Song

Fuck, i suppose Frank is also a close joint 2nd. This guy is just a natural
show man and his usually infectious songs were turned into nothing less
than anthems.
4Phoenix
Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix

The atmosphere in the NME tent was great, the light show was fucking
trippy. 1901 was so fucking good.
5Queens of the Stone Age
Songs For The Deaf

Even though i had never listened to this band before the festival i was
completely enticed by the strength of their set. One intense show.
6 Gaslight Anthem
The '59 Sound

It took a couple songs for Fallon to get into the groove but once he did the
band owned the stage. The '59 Sound was such a good ending to the set.
7Los Campesinos!
Romance is Boring

Would have enjoyed this infinitely more if they played more off Romance is
Boring as I?m not familiar with any of their other stuff, which seemed to be
in contrary with the rest of the crowd. As it stood The Sea is a Good Place
was brilliant.
8Thrice
The Artist in the Ambulance

Not enough IoS and TAitA for my liking but still a very solid show indeed.
9 Gogol Bordello
Super Taranta!

Very energetic, very fun to watch.
10 Magnetic Man
Magnetic Man

WOMWOMWOM
11Modest Mouse
The Moon & Antarctica

Didn?t play very much at all that I recognised, it was okay
12Dizzee Rascal
Boy in Da Corner

Cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit was bare lols, in the good way.
13Blink-182
Blink-182

I?ve never been a huge of them and so being surrounded by 100,000 fan
boys and Tom Delonge?s whiny piece of shit voice intruding my ears I can?t
say I enjoyed them immensely.
14 Young Guns
Whatever shitty album they have

Wet for the lols but none where had. Terrible.
15Streetlight Manifesto
Somewhere in the Between

Yet another brilliant set.
