| Vedder's 2010 Live Acts Ranked
Seen some really great shows this year, here are the most notable | 9 | | O' Brother The Death of Day
Played before the Features and are a really solid live band. Tons of energy. Highlights: Providence and Ascension | 8 | | The Features Some Kind of Salvation
Opened for MO, and same as Fake Problems | 7 | | Fake Problems Real Ghosts Caught on Tape
Opened for Gaslight, and I found them to be way better live than on the record | 6 | | Dave Matthews Band Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King
My eighth year in a row seeing them and wasn't as great as usual (band has been wearing off me a bit). Still, these guys are very good at what they do. Highlights: All Along the Watchtower (Dylan cover), Two Step, #41, Needle and the Damage Done (Neil Young cover), and Don't Drink the Water | 5 | | Manchester Orchestra Mean Everything to Nothing
Highlights: I Can Feel a Hot One, Pride, Wolves at Night, Where Have You Been? | 4 | | Brand New Daisy
As lazy as Jesse Lacey is on stage, they sound pretty damn awesome. Highlights: Sink, Play Crack the Sky, Archers, and You Won't Know | 3 | | Titus Andronicus The Monitor
Tiny venue, and was a blast. Highlights: A More Perfect U nion, Titus Andronicus, Battle of Hampton Roads, and Four Score and Seven | 2 | | Third Eye Blind Ursa Major
Finally, saw them after 13 years of anticipation. Highlights: Motorcycle Drive-By, God of Wine, Losing a Whole Year, Slow Motion | 1 | | The Gaslight Anthem American Slang
Seriously, one of the best shows I've ever seen. Highlights: Here's Looking At You Kid, The Backseat, Great Expectations, Diamond Street Choir, and State of Love at Trust (Pearl Jam cover!) | |
