My Top 10 Most Anticipated Albums For 2011
10 Snoop Dogg
Doggumentary

I'm not the biggest Snoop fan, but he is slightly under appreciated. His flow has
always been great and he has great beats as well. But his lyrics are under
appreciated. He may not be the most lyrical rapper of all time, but sometimes
he can be a lyrical genius and no one seems to realize and people say he's just
an average rapper with a good flow. Based off the leaked tracks, this should be
really good. The only track I didn't like was "Wet", which is just Snoop's attempt
at another "Lollipop" single.
9 Slaughterhouse
TBA

Alright, they haven't even released the title of this album yet so I'm not sure if
it'll come out this year but I love Slaughterhouse. They are all amazing in their
own way. Dare I say it? I think they're the new Wu-Tang. They are all putting
out great solo albums and as a group, they'll be successful due to being signed
to Shady.
8 Common
The Believer

I don't know what this album will be like, but considering the disaster that was
Universal Mind Control, I hope he realizes that people don't want him
experimenting with other genres anymore. Although his discography is very
consistent excluding his two experimentation albums so I'm not too worried.
7 Tech N9ne
All 6's and 7's

Tech N9ne is probably the most consistent rapper. He's put out 11 albums and
not a single one was bad. I don't know how he does it considering he puts out
an album literally every year (his first album came out in 1999). However, I
hope he isn't trying to go mainstream because so far the guests include Em
(yes i know they've worked together before), Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Busta
Rhymes. But I don't really think mainstream would want a guy talking about
murder and cannibalism.
6 Game
The R.E.D. Album

I honestly think this guy can't put out a bad album. He makes a lot of mixtapes
and they are mostly a lot better than other rappers who make a lot of mixtapes.
I also loved all of his albums and since he's back on Aftermath, the production
should be a lot better than LAX.
5 Kool G. Rap
Riches, Royalty & Respect

Other than that slightly mediocre EP released in 2006, he hasn't put out a solo
album in 9 years. He really is an overlooked legend. When people think of the
most influential 80's rapper they think of KRS, Rakim and Slick Rick but most
people forget G Rap.
4 Raekwon
Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang

My favorite Wu member. He may not have been the most consistent in terms of
solo albums but Cuban Linx II was amazing and I hope this'll be just as good.
Sure, it won't have any RZA beats but Cuban Linx II only had two of them and
it was still amazing.
3 GZA
Liquid Swords II

Alright, one of the best albums of all time is getting a sequel completely
produced by RZA? Cuban Linx II was great with only 2 RZA tracks. I doubt this'll
be anything less than classic. They said that they've gone back to their old style
of making music with GZA writing lyrics in one room and RZA making the beat
in the next. If they do that, I'm positive this will be an amazing album.
2Lupe Fiasco
Lasers

Personally, I think Lupe is the best rapper of the 2000's. In my opinion,
conscious rap is the best sub genre of hip hop and Lupe is my favorite conscious
rapper. The Cool is one of my favorite albums of all time and I can't wait for him
to drop this album. If it's anywhere near as good as The Cool, then Lupe will
forever be a legend.
1 Dr. Dre
Detox

This isn't much of a surprise, is it? It's been 11 years since his last album and I
wouldn't even be surprised if it got delayed again until 2012. But in any case,
this will be an amazing album. Hopefully it'll bring back memories from the
Death Row days, but won't try to recreate it. I just hope he doesn't go crazy with the guest appearances. I heard of
people like T.I., Wayne and Drake being on it, which I just can't imagine. I'm actually slightly worried because I
loved "Kush" but hated "I Need a Doctor" and Dre said that most of the songs will be like "I Need a Doctor".
