Jethro42 10.05.11	This is the suite of my definitive prog songs list. Maximum 2 songs per band, and the cover art doesnt necessarily correspond to the selected songs. No prog metal included. If you wanna help me fill the few last spaces, feel free to do so. Keep on progging!

sumyunguy 10.05.11	Soft Machine - 1. Out-Bloody-Rageous 2. Virtually Parts 1-4. Nektar - Remember the Future Parts 1 and 2 Also, am I the only one on here who loves Heritage? All I hear is people crying about how Mike doesn't use death growls anymore when they should be enjoying Heritage for the glorious prog rock splendor that it is.
Jethro42 10.05.11	Thanks for the rec, sumy. I myself enjoy Heritage as well. I gave it a 4. I just noticed that I forgot King's X. My two songs would have to be ''Human Behavior'' and ''Pillow''.
ohioprog 10.05.11	Great list! The only one I haven't heard is Dogma. Great to see Sebastian Hardie on there. It is one of my favorite albums of all-time!!

Jethro42 10.05.11	Ahhh still have to get that Cog! Shaolin Death Squad f*ck yes, Godstick is also a grrreat call. Norman and Livid are my fav songs by them. I totally forgot Figure 8 annnd I think I've never heard of Moving Atlas. It makes me think I also forgot ''Deus Ex Machina (Italy)''. Songs; 'Exordium' and 'republica II'. Cheers Greg, bro!

TheNotrap 10.05.11	Some cool stuff here Jethro Glad you like Absolution, but if you don't know Origin of Symmetry don't miss it. I advice you to check some Queensryche and Savatage work to complete the list. More heavy than your usual prog choices but I believe you will like some songs. Queensryche: Operation: Mindcrime, Rage for Order, Empire and Promised Land Savatage: Gutter Ballet, Streets: A Rock Opera and Edge of Thorns

I'm not necessarily fond of them, but I still appreciate a few tracks. @Notrap, thanks bro. Muse is a great band indeed. Thanks for Queensryche and Savatage. Not exactly my kind of stuff, plus I specified that prog metal is not included. @Greg, While Atomship have all my respect (5'd it), I personally don't find too much prog into it. BUT, if I'm able to consider Blackfield as one, I might reconsider it. I totally forgot about Anekdoten (songs; Kiss of Life, From the Within) and Anglagard (songs; Ganglat Fran, Hostsejd

Stick around Arkitecht, there's still more to come for that actual list; I'm soon gonna edit 2 or 3 things and it will be completed 60/60 as well. HAH I just noticed I have to add some Landberk. Songs; 1-''You Are'' and 2- ''Rememberance''. Prog just has no end.

Jethro42 10.06.11	Totally. But as you can see, these lists tend to contain exclusively classic prog. For all the bands that flirt to some extent with metal (Oceansize, Pain of Salvation, Karnivool, Indukti, Shaolin Death Squad, Rainbow...), there will be a place for them in my next list which is gonna be devoted to prog metal and the likes.
Masochist 10.06.11	For more modern prog of the PT variety, try Sleep Parade. I bet at least "Weeping Walls" or "Everyday" could make a future list :-)

omnipanzer 10.06.11	I don't personally look for Prog outside 60's through early 70's but I'll be damned if there isn't a bunch of stuff up there I wouldn't mind checking out.
