Return of the lambsbread

Sup everyone I'm back. Here's my favorite albums since I left.
1Krs-one
Now Hear This

In some ways this is my favorite KRS-one album. His son produced this album. The chemistry of beats and rapping is outstanding. Seems to me like the most modern sounding krs-one album - yet it's amazing how it still keeps an '88 ethos.
2The Game
The Documentary 2

Ridiculously polished album. Games best album ever by far.
3 Talib Kweli
Indie 500

Can't beleieve this album hasn't been added. Not the best of the year but this has a lot of great tracks.
4Lupe Fiasco
Tetsuo and Youth

Can't stop listening to this. The lyrics are complex, mysterious and awesome and the production is really enjoyable/ compliments the emotions of the songs very well.
5One Be Lo
Project F.E.T.U.S.

One be lo has become one of my favorite rappers. It wasn't until i started reading his lyrics that I completely realized the lyrical level he's on. In some aspects he's one of the most clever rappers I've ever heard.
6Masta Ace
The Falling Season

Been listening to this about very day since it came out a month or so ago. The story telling is even better than on Ace's A Long Hot Summer - which is itself a masterpiece of story telling. Not all the tracks have great playback value, but the first time I heard this album I was blown away. Some absolute classic songs on this album. Say Goodbye is my favorite.
7Eminem
Relapse

havent listened to this a ton lately besides a few tracks, but a year or so ago this album finally clicked with me. First and only album with all dre beats. His voice always threw me off, but now it just seems funny and clever (the way words only rhyme if he puts them in this Arabian accent)
8Royce da 5'9
Layers

Haven't listened to this a ton yet but I can already tell it's a great album. Royce is the kind of veteran-Detroit rapper where his lyrics can stand on their own.
9Pink Floyd
Wish You Were Here

Was listening to this album while driving in the middle of nowhere by myself. Welcome to the machine wash trip. Listening now to it in this environment gave me an all new appreciation for his album, which I already loved.
