I may have grown as a kid of the 90s, but I sadly realized all the good music I was missing out until just a few years ago... To ensure that the 90s gets a fair representation for their music contribution, I've explored this site to find the best albums of varying genres.
Missing: Green Day Dookie, Blink-182 Dude Ranch, Filter Title of Record, Our Lady Peace Clumsy, Moist Creature, Matthew Good Band Beautiful Midnight, The Tea Party Edges of Twilight, Cranberries No Need to Argue, Belle and Sebastian Boy with the arab strap,Belle and Sebastian If You're Feeling Sinister, No Doubt Tragic Kingdom, Foo Fighters The Colour and Shape, Alanis Morisette Jagged Little Pill, Weezer Blue Album, Weezer Pinkerton, Semi Sonic Feeling Strangely Fine, Goo Goo Dolls A Boy Named Goo, Goo Goo Dolls Dizzy up the girl, Stabbing Westward Darkest Days, Pearl Jam Ten, Metallica Black Album,
^ The only one I'd say is missing is Colour and the Shape and either Weezer album.
Wether is be Blue or Pinkerton is really all up to who you ask and nobody is wrong regardless
Out of those I named Weezer, metallica, cranberries, foo fighters, pearl jam, alanis morisette, belle and sebastian, green day and blink are all 90s landmarks. The rest are debatable especially those Canadian gems (most non Canadians never heard of them).
But seriously, if third eye blind, silverchair and The verve make the list any of the albums I mentionned should make the list.
