SlothcoreSam
11.11.19 | A great indie-punk/ power pop album that came out earlier in the year Heart Attack Man- Fake Blood, has some great tracks on it, but kinda got lost in the shuffle. It wouldn't look out of place on this list. |
Atari
11.18.19 | alright list updated again. I’m obsessed with Origami Angel (thanks Lucman)! Already couldn’t get enough then stumbled upon the Pokémon EP they also released this year, haha |
SlothcoreSam
11.20.19 | You can make it to 50. I know you can.
Will rec 2 more to help get you there, then you're on your own.

Atari
11.27.19 | I'll jump on these additional recs
"Intro" to Petrol Girls sounds like Jenny Hval, haha |
WatchItExplode
11.27.19 | They cover some ground over that album Atari. Fairly high on my year list. |
SlothcoreSam
11.28.19 | I almost forgot Problem Daughter- Grow Up Trash, was an early album of the year contender. The Song, Self Amusing Smile, will be in my top 10 this year for sure, maybe even top 3.

SlothcoreSam
11.30.19 | Reside- The Light That You Saw,
An Australian Emo/Punk band, that at their heaviest sound like a heavy The Hotelier. Their quieter moments are more generic, like Trophy Eyes. |
Atari
12.01.19 | madrigal, yeah that glass beach album is pretty awesome. kinda wish it was more like 45 minutes tho lol, just a tad too long imo. still a quality album, cheers for that rec
sloth, how dare you call Trophy Eyes generic (unless we're talking about their last album ofc). I'll check it out haha. Really do need to slow down now though.. way too many albums to go through before I finalize my 2019 list |
madrigal30
12.01.19 | no problem atari! i 100% agree on the length but for how long it is it's paced well |
SlothcoreSam

theBoneyKing

Atari
12.09.19 | yeah, "the view" is one of the most addicting tracks of the year
glad you dig it! hmmm, wondering if you'd dig anything else here lol. Origami Angel might be one of your closest bets but might be too pop-punk for your taste |
luci
12.09.19 | my eyes lit up when i saw it |
theBoneyKing
12.09.19 | I can do a little bit of pop punk I think, at the very least I'm more open to it than in the past.
Have you heard this year's Mannequin Pussy? That's pretty punky. |
Atari
12.09.19 | nope, I'll check them out!!
lol, if there's one thing that could get luci to post in this thread that was it |
