I really love the Manowar/Bathory (epic metal era) vibes of this album.
Maybe it's not the best Grand Magus album out there, but it will slay on concerts.
| | | I love how fun and epic the album feels. Nothing about it really feels distinct, yet it is still a great album.
| | | I think its about time I checked out this band.
| | | Oh yes, my fist is ready for pumping in the air.
| | | Great. JB has a particular voice but in this doomy-heavy style lost his real talent (blues, heavy rock tone)
| | | this is actually really great. its so epic. i think i like it better than the hunt.
| | | I have been a Grand Magus fan ever since the Self-Titled album. I really miss the doom vibe that they used to have. Monument is one of my favorite albums by them, but then Iron Will is a fantastic album too. You can't go wrong with these guys, but The Hunt and this one...where they are good, I feel like they lost some of their original vibe that was more prominent on Monument, Wolf's Return, Iron Will, and even Hammer of the North had some heavier sides to it too.
