Arcturus stream live album 2014-06-01 by BloodMusic | 3 Comments | Classic avant garde Norwegian black metal band Arcturus has released their entire live album "Shipwrecked in Oslo" for streaming. This is the first official live audio publication by the band and their first release in eight years.
The album comes from their 2005 Sonic Solstice performance in Oslo, which was originally released on DVD. It has been edited and remastered for CD and vinyl release through Finnish label Blood Music with a June 3rd release date.

this has to be the same concert thats been on youtube forever, cause these songs sound exactly like them
that concert kicks ass tho so sweet
| | | It is from the same performance, but the entire concert has been edited down to cut out filler for a more full listening experience and also remastered for CD specifically and for vinyl specifically.
| | | Now, that's a pleasant surprise. I had attended their live show in Thessaloniki, Greece back in the day and I still remember Hellhammer destroying his drum kit!!
Unfortunately, Arcturus have played (in total) a very limited number of live shows, so this release will certainly come in handy.
